I recycled my batteries  yesterday at the Erb St. Landfill. When I went to recycle styrofoam I saw a huge black circle on the ground with a burnt out pick up in the middle. The vehicle burned to the point it was gutted. Tires and seats melted and the frame was ash grey and black. I spoke with staff who said a guy came in the truck to recycle steel. He went to the container to dump a piece and his truck exploded. Nobody hurt thank God. Nobody knows why the pick up truck blew up but recycling that piece saved his life.
