Hi GREN folks:

I am sure many of you have heard of GreenPAC and their effort to hold 100
debates on the environment during federal election campaigns. I was
speaking with one of their team today and they indicated there is not yet a
debate organized for Kitchener-Centre or Kitchener South Hespeler. If you
know anyone who would be interested in organizing a debate please share the
information below with them.

 will take place over two nights across Canada before the 2021 federal
election.

This is not a debate about whether or not the environment should be a
priority in this election. The evidence is in. This is about putting our
best ideas on the table and deciding what will work. In other words, this
is not about IF we should act, but HOW.

We're calling on candidates to speak at the local level about their climate
policies and show us how their plans get us closer to a climate-safe future.

*French-language
debates will take place on September 9*.

This will allow Canadians to view both the televised Federal Leaders'
Debates *and* 100 Debates on the Environment.
