Hi folks
The Ontario Federation of Labour is rallying at Waterloo Square against Ford's cuts on June 4th and I would suggest GREN connect with these folks to see if we can have a speaker discuss the Environmental and health implications of Ford's policies or at least to lend our support for this broader effort. It's valuable to network with people on shared concerns. They have an upcoming meeting on May 27th coming up. Details are below.

For those that were not able to attend the last meeting for our rapid response network, we have set the meeting date for this coming Monday May 27 at 6pm at the OECTA office located at 219 Hartwood ave in Waterloo, just off of Weber st. I apologize for the late reminder but we were waiting for confirmation for a venue to host us for the night. 
We will be reviewing where we are as far as numbers for our members, the outreach we have been able to do as a group, what the venue looks like so far, what we still need to do and who needs to help out to get these things done and general discussion about the June 7th and input from the group. 
There are some on this feed that may not have been at previous meetings which is not a problem, we will bring you all up to speed on Monday. I'm very excited as we have all been working our tails off to make sure we have as many people from our community as possible out marching with us. If you have any questions, feel free to call me or send me an email. If you are not able to make it but can send others in your place, let me know as soon as possible. 
Please share this with your groups so that we reach as many people as we can. A facebook event will be up tomorrow for all to share also. Please look on the OFL site as well as wrlc.ca. 
Thank you all for all that you do! Let's keep the momentum up! You're all doing a fantastic job! I've attached a copy of the event flyer for June 7th. Feel free to share this far and wide.
