A Sector Gathering on June 8 
In the past year, Ontario has experienced a number of regressive policies aiming to overturn decades of environmental protections put in place by previous governments of all political stripes. The list includes cancellation of the climate act and cap-and-trade, the legal challenge to carbon pricing, Bill 66, a gutting of the Endangered Species Act, changes to the Environmental Assessment Act, Growth Plan, and more on the way.

On Saturday June 8, 2019, Environmental Defence is gathering together Ontario’s environmental community to launch a coordinated response. 

When: Saturday June 8, 2019 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. 
Where: Bricker Academic Building, Wilfrid Laurier University - Bricker Ave., Waterloo ON N2L 3B4 
How Much: Tickets are $40 

The event is intended for people who are activists already and ideally affiliated with a group that has some capacity to act in their community. Register today, and be sure to share this event with other like-minded organizations.
