[All] Sign-on to GREN and Ontario Headwaters Institute letter on Bill 60

The Ontario Headwaters Institute and the Grand River Environmental Network are seeking organizational support for the attached letter to Premier Ford on Schedule 10 of Bill 66. The initiative is described here <https://www.ebr.gov.on.ca/ERS-WEB-External/displaynoticecontent.do?noticeId=MTM2NzI0&statusId=MjA4MzU1&language=en> on the Environmental Registry.
 
There are several ways you can participate in the effort to convince the government that Schedule 10 is simply an unacceptable effort to abandon existing protocols designed to protect the environment, public health, and democracy in Ontario. 
 
The options include:
·         Organizations are invited to add their support to the letter by sending your name, your position as an authorized representative of your organization, and your organization’s name to andrew at ontarioheadwaters.ca <mailto:andrew at ontarioheadwaters.ca>.    (Sample: Andrew McCammon, Executive Director, Ontario Headwaters Institute);
·          Individuals can sign the petition from Ontario Nature, at https://ontarionature.good.do/schedule10/sign/ <https://ontarionature.good.do/schedule10/sign/>;
·         Organizations and Individuals can access a lot of information about the campaign to stop this Bill at www.stopbill66.ca <http://www.stopbill66.ca/>. The website includes tools to help you advocate with your local MPP or municipal council, as well as information on local councils that have already stated their opposition to ever using this horrible piece of legislation; and, 
·         People living or working in the Grand River watershed can plug in locally via www.gren.ca <http://www.gren.ca/>;
 
As the deadline for comments on Bill 66 is 11:59 pm Sunday, January 20, please send your expression of organizational support no later than Saturday, January 19.
