Hi folks
Here is the Article addressing the costs of the ION and the idea of delaying the second part of the track system to Cambridge. It makes reference to the River Road Extension in Hidden Valley and mentions some of the funding issues.

Here is a report suggesting the planning of the River Road Extension actually went back for 40 years .The need for a new east-west route to ease traffic congestion was first identified in 1979. But environmental concerns delayed the project and forced the region to rethink the route. Considering the fact we have a climate crisis now, one would thing that concern would be revisited. Costs are estimated to be 72 million currently.

The need is there to update the costs of the second section of ion and to review the delays and additional costs of the first section to have a look on how much the second section could actually cost us.
Now here is an old video I took at the open house with an area resident of Hidden Valley name Luanne sharing concern that the map as shown to the public at the open house may have been false. She states the wetlands extend all the way to the area along the roadway. She also notified me off camera that a planner, who will not be named, was making door to door visits with area residents about the project and he made sure to tell people I was actually crazy. Apparently he was informed of the fact I had post partum psychosis after the birth of my last child (who is now 15) Apparently he tried used that illness to try to discredit my efforts to protect this area.

Area resident Luanne lives adjacent to a wetland complex identified at the end of the rather "phallus like" map ...

Senior Economist Robyn Allen was a delegate of the Trans Mountain pipeline, I learned from her that the NEB can't decide if we allow a species to go extinct like the Orcas. She said those kinds of decisions have to come from Cabinet by law. Is what Mr. Ford doing with the Endangered Species Act actually legal.
