[All] New innovation with trash reclaimation system

Using steam and oxygen this new waste management system vaporizes trash to create aggregates, ethanol and hydrogen. It is a closed looped concept so it doesn't release emissions because energy is reclaimed to run the unit. It can take all non recyclables from tech to tires, styrofoam etc. 
Reducing trash from the start should always be top priority however this could serve to reduce methane from leaking landfills. Handy video here;

In Regina Saskatchewan, their land fill is their largest source of green house gas emissions. A project was planned to reclaim the energy however, SaskPower did not have adequate grid capacity to do it.  The city wants to be 100% renewable energy by 2050. Article about that is here.
