[All] Big results with Enbridge!

I'm very happy to see that Enbridge is buying Enbridge Income Fund for 4.7 billion dollars.

Enbridge Income Fund were acting as a shell company. Enbridge transferred assets without NEB permission including pipeline assets like Line 9, Line 10 years back and a bunch to move funds to the US to take advantage of tax rebates and service fees. Here is the website I created all about this issue here, written years ago. Economist Robyn Allen flagged similar issues with Kinder Morgan changing hands.

Nice to see that Enbridge ownership is finally going back to the parent company that way we'll have better traction should spills happen. We won't have to go through the same issue as the Indigenous Ecuadorians vs. Cheveron who had to sue through shell companies to get results. This means the ownership is in the hands of the actual parent company.
I filed an investigation on this issue previously with two review boards, one policing and the other financial. I also had a meeting recently in Toronto with folks who were thinking about possibly launching a potential lawsuit over Line 9. I told them to hang on first. I had a plan.
I filed comments with the fraud concerns to the NEB via my Letter of Comment regarding  the sale of Line 10 process which is underway now and for the very first time, the NEB listened. 
The letters of comments were submitted. The solicitor of Scott Petrie LLP, named John Goody was hired by Knollwood Golf Course. He agreed on my observations that the Line 10 pipeline sale is dealing a shell companies with this deal. 
Enbridge refused to answer our inquiries saying our concerns of the corporate structures were outside the scope. The NEB disagreed and demanded a response from Enbridge. That response is due today. 
Google the term: neb line 10 sale and you will get to the main NEB website with all documents regarding this issue. I still haven't seen Enbridge's response posted yet but it is due Sept. 18. 
Either way it's good to see results!
