[All] GREN meeting reminder Tuesday evening - agenda changed to reflect pressing political changes

Date & Time: Tuesday December 11 from 7:15 - 9:15
Location: Christian Science Sunday School, 64 Water Street North, Kitchener. See below in blue part for detail on location and parking, etc.

I have taken the liberty of substantially revising the draft agenda to reflect recent provincial proposals for change that can dramatically affect our work in the future, and secondarily, to focus on potential and challenges after the recent municipal elections and deciding how we can help set the municipal agenda for the next four years. We need to take the time to discuss both of these and to develop strategies around them. 

Once we have taken the time to do that, I propose that we discuss as many of the other issues on the agenda as we have time to. However, I think we should begin with the following items since they are most pressing:
Business items but delay the organizational structure item to the next meeting
Hidden Valley - Gord Nicholls
Paris Pit Update & Paris-Galt moraine - Anne Ehrlich
Others, as time is available.
Set next meeting date.

This is a time when substantial change is happening so it is essential that we make some plans. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Even if you have not been a regular attendee at GREN meetings - or haven't attended at all, we urge you to come out to be part of this important discussion,

It is one block from King St so there is good access to public transit. There is a small parking area around the church plus on-street parking on Francis and Water Streets.
