Divest Waterloo is partnering with Citizens' Climate Lobby Waterloo Region, Food Not Bombs, and Climate Vegan to host a special screening for COWSPIRACY. This documentary challenges us to look beyond the well-publicized sources of greenhouse gas emissions, and to question how our food choices contribute to climate change.  It also investigates why environmental groups were or are not promoting avoiding animal products as a way to help the environment. This film, along with the documentary Forks over Knives, are the two main reasons that I decided to move towards a whole-foods, vegan diet.
