 Hello everyone
I went to the Grand River south of the spill to M.R. Good Trail. I walked along the water and recorded this information between the entrance of the trail to the area where there is a river feeding into the Grand. 
I saw a sickly lethargic frog. I also witnessed dead crayfish along the shore and in the water and these were in areas outside the booms. I did not touch anything in the water but I gathered the claws I found in a 6 by 6 foot area and put them in a ziplock bag. They are in my freezer right now and I'm just waiting to see if the Guelph MNR are interested in testing these as a means of determining rate of decomposition or toxicity. It might help us find when this spill began. All the ones I found are young crayfish, approx. the same size and rate of decomposition which indicates they died of an event rather than simply natural causes. 
There is slight cloudy film seen in areas of the water seen at certain angles beyond the booms.

I notified the Spills Action Centre of these issues. 
At this time I want to thank the City of Kitchener for the new signage posted along the parks. They are clear, can be understood by anyone of any language and I believe they will serve to help protect the public.Thank you for that.
