See you at 7:00 PM this Wednesday night at the University of Waterloo. This impromptu event is being held at the University of Waterloo - Hagey Hall HH 1104 (this is in the new part of Hagey Hall, in the School of Accounting and Finance). Join climate warriors Monique Verdin of the United Houma Nation and Gulf Coast liason for the Indigenous Environmental Network and Myeengun Henry band councillor for the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, for a special screening of "My Louisiana Love" http://www.mylouisianalove.com/ as we act in solidarity with the people of the Louisiana Gulf Coast. Monique will be skyping in from Louisiana to talk about the impact of oil exploration and drilling in the Gulf and the Surround the Superdome action. Myeengun Henry will update everyone on the Chippewas of the Thames Supreme Court Challenge.
