A few things came up at tonight's GREN meeting that I wanted to share.

 

1)    University of Waterloo Environmental Studies students having their
second annual ENVigorate on Wed. March 23, all day. Workshops, speakers etc.
I was going to speak at 10:30 (and still might) but don't know until they
work out some scheduling issues Friday.

2)    I approached Ignite Waterloo http://ignitewaterloo.ca/ to see if it's
possible to collaborate on an evening with just environmental issues. Check
out the website for all the past speakers - all the talks are recorded and
on youtube forever https://www.youtube.com/user/ignitewaterloo

I've done 3 talks so far and they're as terrifying as they are fun and reach
an audience we don't usually do.
