In case you haven't heard yet, Daphne died on Friday morning.
Below is a message from her husband Gord updating us on their plans.
We will keep you updated as details are worked out.
Daphne played the prime role in initiating and pulling together the first meeting of the group that became GREN.

Dear John & Greg
THank you so much for your visit to Daph two weeks ago. Since that time she failed rapidly and was moved to Wellington Hospice on Tuesday.
Sadly she took her last breaths on Friday morning and finally came to the end of her long fight with a pain racked body.
Daph wanted her body given to Medical Science and that has been done. Instead of a funeral we will be having a private family ceremony tomorrow and in a few weeks we will have a Celebration of Daph's life. I will let you know the date & location when we get it organized.
If any friends ask about flowers, please let them know it was DAph's wish that any donations in her honour be sent to the Bruce Trail Conservancy 'Daphne Nicholls Memorial fund,'
The next days & weeks will be hard but no harder than what DAph had to endure these past two months.
Again, many thanks
Gord
