 Subject: Study on a hypothetical severe nuclear accident now available online
   
The report titled Study of Consequences of a Hypothetical Severe Nuclear Accident and Effectiveness of Mitigation Measures has been published on the CNSC’s website, in English and French. Some of the severe accident scenarios predicted doses that are comparable to the actual doses measured at Fukushima.

Further to the August 2015 version of the study that was made available on request, the CNSC has corrected figures in tables A1.1 and A1.2. These changes do not impact the conclusions of the report.
