[All] Defender News: Victory! Free speech now protected in Ontario

Yes, a great victory!  Much credit to Lulu.

Now if we could only win the battle against Investor-State lawsuits
embedded in trade deals!

These ISDS clauses could mean that any government that tries to carry out
climate commitments made at COP21, will be taken to the cleaners by
corporations whose potential profits are threatened.  Will put a chill on
all environmental legislation.

Problem is that trade deals, with their secret corporate tribunals, are
BINDING, where climate deals are not.  (See *This Changes Everything*
chapter 2.)

I don't hear anyone raising this issue - only voices in the wilderness like
Maude Barlow and Gus Van Harten.

If I were more tech savvy I'd start an Avaaz petition!
