Here's something we could GRENd our teeth on. The first link is an invitation to members of existing Regional advisory committees to offer comments on strategic planning. The second link seems more open and invites participation in a number of focus groups. Concerned Grenlettes might use this opportunity to express their concerns on various matters.

Share your thoughts and ideas and help set the Region of Waterloo’s priorities for 2015-2018.
The Region of Waterloo provides more than 60 per cent of government services directly and indirectly to the community. Regional Council will be reviewing Regional services and will identify new priorities for the 2015-2018 Council term, and your input is important to the process.
Help Council prioritize services that are the most pressing of the community, provide the best value for tax dollars, as well as identify opportunities to make existing programs more efficient and effective. There are many ways you can share your thoughts and ideas about Regional programs and services that benefit the community.
You are invited to join one of the conversations taking place throughout February – May 31, 2015. See the Public Input<http://bit.ly/regionstratchat> page on the Region’s website or go to http://bit.ly/regionstratchat to find out information on events that engage the public in a “Strat Chat”. There will be additional events added on an ongoing basis, so bookmark the site and check on an ongoing basis.
We would like to highlight some of the events that are currently on the website:
On line discussion forum – The Region has implemented a new online tool for the public to engage in ongoing conversations about the most pressing needs of the community.
