Dear Environmental Friends,
I hope you are all well. I am approaching you today because I was hoping that you could support an initiative by some students in my Environment, Psychology and Action course in collaboration with Felix Munger to promote local environmental programming on CBC. Please consider signing the petition and spreading the word about this through your networks. We hope to get several hundreds signatures within the next few days.
All the best,
Manuel

Dear friends,

It’s clear that Canadians are increasingly concerned about the environment. With the Paris Climate Conference just around the corner and with new energy and willingness in the federal government to address the climate change crisis, we think it is the perfect time for the Kitchener-Waterloo CBC to start airing a weekly segment focused on the environment (showcasing local, provincial, national and international news, actions and events).

Please join us (a group of Wilfrid Laurier University students in partnership with Sustainable Societies Consulting Group) in persuading Kitchener-Waterloo CBC to create a weekly environmental segment to promote dialogue on sustainability, environmental issues and local initiatives.

What we’re asking from you:

· Forward this email to your friends and colleagues

· Sign our petition

· Complete our survey<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Environmentalsegmentcbckw>

  * If you listen to Kitchener-Waterloo CBC, we invite you to participate in our brief survey to help us understand your perception how well the local CBC covers environmental issues and events. The survey is anonymous and we do not ask for any identifying information including IP address. The survey is conducted for the purpose of the Wilfird Laurier University course (Psychology, Environment and Action) and its findings may be used to inform Kitchener-Waterloo CBC to help them decide on local regular programming.
