  Hi GRENers,

   

  Sorry we're later than I'd like organizing this, but John and I met with REEP and Sustainable Waterloo Region to talk about a collaborative eco-event for the election. 

   

  Tues. Oct. 7 from 7 - 9:30 

   

  for a meet and greet and potluck dessert coffee/tea with the regional and municipal candidates for the upcoming election. The format will be to give each candidate 2 minutes each to address us, and then the rest of the time one-on-one over dessert. It will be at WalterFedy 674 Queen St, St. 111. Although we are inviting the media, this event is only open to members and friends of members, so not a public event per se.  

   

  We're also creating a 2-pager to say who we are, what we do and what the candidate can do to help us accomplish our goals.

   

  If you know for sure you'll be there AND can bring some dessert, please let me know to make sure I don't have to grab some timbits. 8-)

   

  I will make the arrangements for the beverages.
