[All] Al Gore & Naomi Klein on Climate Change

Thanks Lulu,

I just heard Naomi Klein being interviewed by Michael Enright on CBC Radio on Sunday. I, like you, very much appreciate the great environmental work of All Gore. But I was disappointed to hear Naomi say that as VP he and Clinton supported a cap & trade approach (large abuse-potential as Naomi said & as we all now know) for decreasing carbon emissions rather than a carbon tax with dividends (see today’s WR Record letter., “Carbon fee and dividend system needed). Naomi said that Clinton and Gore justified this by saying that the US was in a mood to more likely accept a market approach.
