All-candidates meeting a successsorry for the delay - yes it really was a very good turn-out both by candidates and the audience - I think it was a good thing that the event was organized and held, so we could hear where candidates stand, and to put environmental issues on the front burner as an election issue. It was good for the candidates to learn about the groups who hosted it also - that there are lots of people out there watching locally what politicians do to protect our environment, and working on initiatives themselves. It was somewhat shocking to hear from some candidates that the environment does not really figure much on their list of important things to know about or care about... all the more reason why events such as these are important. Good work Susan, and thank you to everyone who worked to organize the event.

  The all-candidates meeting that we co-hosted with six other environmental organizations on Tuesday evening was a great success. One hundred people attended, perfectly filling the room. Forty of those people were candidates. 

  It was great to see people hanging around for an hour after the formal presentations to chat with the candidates - very valuable interactions.
