    The Great Lakes Commission is looking for comments on its Draft
    Report on Transport of Crude oil in the Great Lakes Region
    <https://www.glc.org/oiltransport/comments.php>. The Draft Report
    gives an overview of oil transport in the Great Lakes *but fails to
    include key issues including climate change, adequate oil spill
    response preparedness, respect for Indigenous communities and treaty
    rights and the increase in transportation of tar sands bitumen and
    fracked oil. *

    A number of organizations have come up with a sign-on letter that
    will be sent to the Great Lakes Commission by December 1, 2014
    raising these and other concerns. There’s more info in the blurbs
