[All] In Defence of Robert

Hi everyone.

Here is an example of what wepower.ca  can look like. The super simple format is the key: Topic, supporters and links. NO DESCRIPTIONS PLEASE.

Wepower.ca is targeted for folks already sympathetic to the cause. Viewers get to see a list of supporters which fosters hope and encouragement. Links guide them to credible sources for further info, position pages and petitions. It's not designed to introduce the topic, it is designed to allow folks who are already aware of it, to get smarter and more active in their support. GREN gets a chance to showcase themselves on the list which boosts our reputation while promoting the good work of other agencies.

One problem though: GREN has broken links to some of their position pages on the GREN website.  View the topics below and lets see if we can craft comments on these other issues to be posted on the GREN website and linked to Wepower. The more we can provide comments the higher our profile becomes. We can also network with WREN to get more local groups to post their position pages as well to strengthen the efforts. (Might even get some nice ads posted up from folks wanting to promote their eco-products or services.)

In the attachment is a royalty free logo we can use. If anyone is feeling artistic, convert the circle puzzle to a planet earth.

Here are 5 sample pages of what wepower can look like:

Thanks Lulu. I just purchased the domain (see below).
I'll work on the design. I need the following information for the body of the web page:
1) The key demand
2) Further explanation of the key demand (3-4 paragraphs)
3) A list of all the groups endorsing the demand
I should be able to manage the rest.

Like I said, the web page will be online by Saturday night.
Thanks again Lulu, and look forward to contributions from other GREN members.
Best,
Jason
