I still intend to request a Part II, but we have had maintenance problems

Hello everyone

 

I have a draft copy of an executive summery that I will provide with my Part
II order request regarding Hidden Valley and the River Road Extension.

 

It's in the very early stages right now but in a nutshell, it is being used
to facilitate  a bump up from a Schedule C to a Schedule D EA process.  

 

The data referenced in the summery exposes the use of discretionary powers
that are being used to limit the scope the study and mislead Regional Staff
into thinking they can bypass both the Species At Risk Act as well as the
Ontario Endangered Species Act.  It's a very interesting read and I've got
years worth of supporting data to throw behind all this including ministry
correspondences, EA data, photos from open houses and supporting videos to
illustrate there is no plausible deniability in regards to the claims made.
That council and the Ministries have been reasonably informed of the
concerns.

 

I will support it with a more detailed report. It's going to take some time
to put it together but crafting the initial summery helps to establish the
path forward.
