[All] LRT support mtg ?

Eleanor,

Thanks for your question.  Indeed, there is a group of us having a planning meeting next week to try to figure out what all we can be doing over the next eight to ten weeks to ensure that the upcoming Regional Council vote to award the $500 million contract for LRT goes as well as possible.

It is a meeting where we hope to work on an infographic that we can release to help people better understand LRT and its future benefit to our community.  We also hope to talk over other ideas for what we can be doing to engage/inform the community to clear up misconceptions and build support such as letters to the editor, guest speaker events, etc.

Anyone who would like to help with this planning is more than welcome to join us on Thursday, January 30th at 7:00pm.  We are still working on the location details however, if you are interested in helping out please e-mail me directly at kevinthomason at mac.com and I will keep you in the loop.
