[All] Next GREN meeting agenda

Hi Grenners... 

Kitchener is revising its zoning, and I hope to be more up-to-date about it and involved than I was in 2014, with the Hidden Valley Community Plan as my main focus.

However, we had/have a NIMBY issue over a lot at the corner of King. St. E. and Deer Ridge which is going to be developed as yet another gas station and a drive through restaurant, thanks to current by-laws. Air quality, for sure, and groundwater, if there's a leak in gas tanks, as well as road safety are our concerns, but despite our input (too little, too late in the process) Planning Committee passed the plans with a few modifications on November. 

How is it that a company is still able to facilitate the pollution of our air and water in 2015 with the city's blessing?  (Rhetorical.) However, I'm looking for suggestions about affecting zoning changes at the next meeting.
