I’m writing to you as friends, fellow cyclists, tourism advocates and health and safety conscious people from the Region of Waterloo.  Would you consider supporting the petition below that advocates for a continuous bike lane near the St. Jacobs Market?  It seems utterly silly and dangerous not to extend the current City of Waterloo facility into the neighbouring township!

Hi Everyone!

I just signed the petition "Todd Cowan: Cycling Lanes on Benjamin Road West" on Change.org.  If you read the link below, you will see that the bike lanes on Benjamin Road will not be continued
by Woolwich Township.  This is a heavily travelled road and it is important to continue the cycling lane development for the safety of our cycling community as well as the safety of the
drivers.  This petition has been initiated by the Great Canadian Cycling Tours and for those of us who cycle with them, we should be supportive.
