[All] Another successful quarry pit stop!

Hi folks

After 9 years of trying the citizens of FORCE in Flamborough finally got St. Mary's Quarry pit to cancel their below ground quarry project. 

The matter ended after St. Mary's cut a deal with the Province of Ontario to scrap the project. Instead of proceeding with litigation, the province will instead pay St. Mary's a set fund on condition that St. Mary's cancels plans for all pits located in Northern Flamborough in order to protect the area's groundwater resources.
