Alberta Tar Sands boom going bust! 

Suncor Energy Inc., Canada’s largest oil company, is spending about $1-billion less on its oil sands projects. ConocoPhillips Co., Koch Industries Inc. & Royal Dutch Shell PLC are putting properties up for sale in Alberta Tar Sands. Marathon Oil Corp., Murphy Oil Corp. & Athabasca Oil Corp. sought buyers & partners for Alberta oil sands but FAILED. Details are all here in the Globe & Mail folks.

Harper projected triple Tar Sands output but BP states Canada will be lucky to hold current tar sands export to US, let alone increase it by millions of barrels per day.
