Subject: ClimateActionWR Update & Community Forum Series Invitation
Dear Greening Sacred Spaces,
Please have a look at my colleague Sarah Brown's series of events for ClimateActionWR, taking place in Waterloo, Kitchener and Cambridge.
I'm attending the workshop in Waterloo, and I hope to see some of you there!
Also - save the date for a workshop for faith communities, businesses and institutions about heating water with solar energy - Tuesday, March 26! If your business or institution uses a lot of energy to heat hot water you'll want to attend this FREE workshop! More information to come!
Thanks,
Jane

How will Waterloo Region take real action on climate change?
Dear Greening Sacred Spaces Network Members,
A community Climate Action Plan for Waterloo Region is being developed through the ClimateActionWR collaborative, and there are many ways for you to get involved! The Project Team and Task Forces have been hard at work identifying existing programs and developing new actions that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Waterloo Region - we're ready to share those ideas and hear from YOU!
Join us in person for the Community Forum Series on March 19th, 21st or 25th, and weigh in to the online conversation on the Discussion Board. Youth ages 12 to 24 are invited to submit their creative expressions to our Art Contest up until March 31st. Please read on for more information and contact me at any time to chat about how we can propel sustainability efforts in this community!
Sarah Brown,
ClimateActionWR Project Manager
