[All] re OMB and the Region II

Hi

My take is that the Region is taking it on mainly because there was bias
based on the seminar that OMB members attended that favoured the proponents
for development.  Any guess on the name of that individual?

Hi fellas

 

Just thought I'd let you know of the shenanigans going on.  

 

The Region of Waterloo is taking the OMB on in a court of law due to an odd
decisions that favoured sprawl over urban intensification. Urban
intensification was a concept enshrined in our Region's Official Plan yet
the OMB negated the intent and purpose and allowed developers to exploit
more lands than the city gave. The circumstances of the OMB decision are
quite odd. Below is a backgrounder with further information.

 

Should be an interesting court process.
