Hi folks
Last week I compiled my evidence and electronically submitted it online well before today's deadline. It is posted here.

Attachment C was broken first time I tried to submit. A successful reposting is here: http://www.neb-one.gc.ca/fetch.asp?language=E&ID=A53271
In a nutshell, my key issues are earthquakes, floods and bacteria which all relate directly to pipeline integrity issues.
I focused on flooding along the Nith and I'm trying to secure the placement of shut off valves adjacent to all high flood risk tributaries en route for the Line 9 reversal project. I am working to secure mandatory inspections of pipelines in tributaries after each major flood/earthquake incident as a means to prevent spills as well. Currently there are no laws to secure that.
These arguments are common sense issues that do not technically "oppose" the pipeline but if the cost to implement these programs are too high, or if it creates enough delay it could kill this project. If Enbridge supports these ideas they will look like a good guy but it will screw their customers, Imperial Oil. If they fail to support these issues they will look irrational and it will serve as a PR nightmare. Either way, I have something handy to work with at the end of all this.
Lulu
