[All] Public info session re: Strasburg Rd. Extension

Hi folks

The city of Kitchener is conducting a Class EA schedule C for Strasburg Road and a new Technically Preferred Alignment has been chosen and the plan will be on display for the public on Wednesday April 24, from 7pm-9pm at Huron Heights Secondary School 1825 Strasburg Rd. Kitchener ON.

The purpose of this event is to report on study progress, present the comparative assessments, identify the technically preferred route and give a chance for the public and government agencies to review and comment. 


This is the road that is intended to cross through a potential heritage farmland area in proximity to suitable wetland habitats of Jefferson Salamanders, Queen Snakes and Blandings, Cerulean Warbler, Milksnake etc.  The data regarding the rare species can be viewed online here:
