[All] Ontario's New Local Food Act in the works

I hope that improved protection for migrant workers will be part of the
bill.  Consumers want to be able to track how ethical our food is, as well
as how local.  (If only we could do the same with agribusiness!)

A new report from the Metcalf Foundation says abuse of foreign workers is
"systemic":
