Local News:

Kudo's to Councillor Yvonne Fernandez for her excellent coverage today in the Record speaking of the new conservation strategies being implemented to help protect and preserve Jefferson Salamanders in Doon South. Article is online here:

Lulu theory: This summer Syngenta agreed to pay $105 million to settle a class-action lawsuit with 2000 water utilities in the U.S. Midwest because Atrazine contaminated their municipal water supplies. 300 utilities with the highest Atrazine levels in their water will recover 100% of their costs. My advice: Check the Atrazine levels in the Grand.  With development encroaching farmlands, more farm run-off might be making it's way into the sewage treatment resulting in these issues.
