[All] GREN meeting date changed to October 24

Your executive committee has decided to delay GREN¹s October meeting by one
week to October 24. Our reason for this is that David Suzuki & Jeff Rubin
will be speaking at Laurier the evening that we had originally planned for
our meeting. We felt that some of our members would be conflicted over which
meeting to go to. I will send you information on the Suzuki & Rubin meeting
in the next e-mail after this one.

The purposes of the GREN meeting on October 24 are: 1) to get updates on
issues that GREN and others have been working on, and 2) to make decisions
on which issues and activities GREN should be involved in over the year.

GREN meeting: Wednesday October 24, 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at St. John¹s
Kitchen, 97 Victoria St. N (Victoria at Weber), 2nd floor, enter from side,
two blocks from King St buses, (limited parking in back and you need to
enter from Weber St.).

1. Introductions 
2. GREN Updates:
> * Waterloo Region Water Conservation & Efficiency
> * Grand River Water Management Plan
> * Grand River-Lake Erie SourceWater Protection
> * Waterloo Region Light Rail Transit Update & Reurbanization Planning
    3. Other Updates:
> * Nuclear Wastes on Lake Huron shores
> * Waterloo Region Waste Management Plan Update
> * Others (please contact me so I can add any other issue updates and possible
> activities for GREN to the agenda.
    4.  Decisions on activities for years and future meetings
