Regarding next week's presentations by the 
public, I understand that there are 76 requests to appear before the ARA Review 
Committee for 24 appointments.  As a result the Committee will prioritize 
the list of candidates and then the Clerks will start calling to fill 
the schedule until all 24 time slots are filled.
 
I am hearing that the party leaders have 
agreed to let the committee travel and extend the hearings.
 
If you would like to pursue the opportunity to speak before the 
Committee next week in Toronto, then contact the Committee members 
directly.  Contact info is below.  If you are truly determined, ask 
the Clerks to put you on a standby list.

(ARA) Review
 
Terms of Reference:  To review the ARA and 
report to the House its observations and recommendations with respect to 
strengthening the Act.  In developing such recommendations, the 
Commmittee's focus shall include, but not be limited to, the following 
areas:  The Act's consultation process; How siting, operations, and 
rehabilitation are addressed in the Act; Best practices and new developments in 
the industry; Fees/Royalites; and, Aggregate resource development and 
protection, including conservation/recycling.
