To be more specific re; how high Kevin climbed for those who will/do  
not use Facebook,

"Success! Our entire group from Canada made it to Everest Base Camp!  
Three of us including myself then climbed another 1,000 feet higher to  
Khala Pattar at 18,200 feet in brutal -15c temperatures, wind and  
little oxygen during the night to get amazing Everest, Lhotse, Pumori  
and Nuptse photos before sunrise and cameras froze. Now racing down to  
lower altitudes and warmer temperatures. Meeting Steph in Hong Kong  
next week for a trip around the world for her birthday. Hope all is  
well. Kevin."
