  Hi Lulu,

  How's it going?  This is Matt Soltys from Guelph, from the Hanlon Creek
battle.  It has been a long time since we've spoken, maybe a few years
by now.  I hope you are enjoying the summertime weather.  I am
currently in Vancouver, missing out on spring and getting hailed on.  But
I'm coming back in less than two weeks.

I'm not sure if I've told you that I have a book I've been working on for
a number of years.  It's a collection of interviews I've done through
Healing the Earth Radio, titled Tangled Roots: Dialogues exploring
ecological justice, healing, and decolonization.  It's coming out this
summer.

  As of today I am launching my book's website and a fundraising website
to sell advance copies.  I've got a website up at
www.healingtheearthpress.org, but I would especially like to direct your
attention to the fundraising website I've set up, through which I'm
selling advanced copies to raise money for printing.  It's at
www.indiegogo.com/tangledroots.

  Check it out!  And it would be a huge help if you could pass this on to
anyone you can possibly think about who may be interested in supporting
this project by getting a copy. It's a book that I think can appeal to a
range of people, including left-leaning and enviro-minded folks, and those
who are already fairly radicalized.

  Although I will be doing a more full set of promotion around it's actual
release date in May, this is my initial push to tell the world about it
and hopefully raise the necessary funds to make it happen.
