Hi everyone!
I'm so tickled pink about the defeat of the Keystone by the Senate! What a miracle.
Bill McKibbon of 350.org responds to the defeat of the Keystone XL and they have posted the fact that next week they are starting an international petition to end oil subsidies! Details here: http://www.350.org/en/about/blogs/bill-mckibben-keystone-xl-senate-vote
Also, a big rally taking place this Sunday calling for a Federal Inquiry regarding the robocall scandal. LOTS of groups involved with this one. Good time to raise attention to the gagging of our scientists etc. Details below. Feel free to circulate.

Sunday, March 11th "Occupy Democracy Rally" (St George's Square at 1pm to walk to City Hall at 2pm for speakers)
Join us for our non-partisan event focusing on election fraud and the need for a public inquiry.
Meet in St George's Square with signs and banners and walk to City Hall for an outside gathering at 2pm
Local speakers will focus on the situation and the need to support our democratic traditions and call for a public inquiry.
We welcome the public to join us in protesting this robo-call theft of our democratic rights in Canada and to show strong support for parliamentary democracy and an end to the pilfering of our rights as Canadians.
