Fabulous Kevin! That's very generous of you!

 

We'll be camping w/o July 24, but good for Wed. July 18. Since I suggested
this, is it ok if we have it then? 8-)

 

Assuming you have a BBQ Kevin, I'd suggest GREN spring for an assortment of
beef, veggie, chicken and salmon burgers and buns and everyone can bring
salads, desserts, fruit, condiments and drinks..or whatever works for
everyone.

Excellent idea!  I'm willing to offer my place here at Sunfish Lake and host
it seeing as it is the perfect time of the year for outdoor meetings.

 

I will be back in Europe and Asia over the next couple weeks but would be
able to host something at Sunfish Lake either Wednesday July 18th or Tuesday
July 24th.  We could either do a potluck meal, a potluck dessert and coffee,
or just a campfire with marshmallows.  

 

Let me know any ideas.

Can't remember how long it's been since GREN had a meeting. I have no idea
what anyone else is doing, we're not doing anything collectively, although
it seems Lulu has her finger in every environmental pie 8-) 
 
So what's up? Should we disband? Or do we need a central goal that fires us
all up? Is that even possible? Or are we just a convenient list to post to
when we've got a beef, some news, a call for bums in seats? 
 
I expect this insane omnibus bill will truly make it Harper's Canada. 
 
I was out of commission for most of last year with family stuff, rallied the
usual suspects over the last month to make sure MPP Ted Chudleigh's
weakening of the Pesticides Act (Bill 88) didn't pass and negate the
Cosmetic Pesticides Ban. It didn't pass so your dandelions are safe. 
 
Is anyone up for a potluck/social evening before summer holidays begin to
catch up, so we can reconnect in person?
