Good afternoon,
 
Last November, we hosted a workshop to get your feedback on the Broad Water Objectives for the Grand River Water Management Plan. Your comments were recorded as part our efforts to communicate with people across the watershed about the uses, needs and values for water that should be maintained for future generations.
 
In March we brought an amended list of Broad Water Objectives to the Steering Committee based on the feedback received through the engagement process. We now have a report that documents this process and the changes made to the Broad Water Objectives.

It has been a challenge to get documents like this, which describe the process, out in a timely manner while we continue to move the plan forward and fill research needs.  Despite the delay in getting this to you, I hope you will be pleased to read how your suggestions were received and how the plan have been enhanced with a focus on eco-centric water management through the development of Guiding Principles.
