[All] Urgent Action on Ontario's Environment

Just received this from the Green Party.  The deadline is Monday.  Please

Dear Eleanor,

The McGuinty government is on the verge of digging a major hole in the
Endangered Species Act -- a hole so big that you could drive a mega quarry
or a mega mine through it.

This is no time to gut environmental protections.  With the Harper
conservatives destroying federal environmental laws, we must not undermine
them in Ontario too.

In 24 hours over 1,000 people responded to our call to speak out last week.
 Earlier this week, Mike Schreiner delivered this message to Premier
McGuinty on World Environment Day.

The time to speak out is now, before it is too late.  We only have until
June 11 to submit more signatures and have our voice heard before the bill
is voted on next week.
