John    I hope you  prepare for   your usually supportive speech   and leadership    or    suggestions     or   preferred intentions of GREN  for the future.   I’m supportive  of  keeping the somewhat active existence of GREN  for some current and definitely future needs ....even if it’s only occasionally an email letter a few times  during the year   (or a call for help  from our members   or  ‘bums on seats’  )  to assure others of a somewhat  supportive environmental group with  some ( read multiple)  experience.   Environmental  distastes  and   disasters and negatives and occasionally positive  happenings will continue to occur. 

They will need to be addressed along the way   and it’s good to have an agreement to keep the contacts alive...is my opinion.   This may get others to thinking along the same lines. Or get them to realise that this is what they may want to do..    It may also be an opinion  that we should AT LEAST  have an annual get together  or semi annual  if no MAJOR concerns  that take immediate precedence.     Them’s my thoughts   or   “that’s my story ...and I’m sticking to it.” Look forward to seeing  all y’all at Kevin’s    Ginny

Excellent idea.

So the plan then is as follows:

GREN Summer BBQ Meeting
Wednesday, July 18th 2012 at 6:30pm
Thomason residence at Sunfish Lake - 1115 Cedar Grove Road - map below

I will BBQ a variety of beef, veggie and chicken burgers.

Please bring either a salad or dessert and your favourite beverage.  As well you should bring a lawnchair and a jacket in case of bugs or if it cools off at dusk.

Please let me know any questions or ideas.
