[All] MNR sank to brand new low

This is crying out for a reply.

Any ideas out there?  Honourable Joe Oliver is wrapping himself in the
Canadian flag; he is denigrating the democratic process; playing the
"foreign interference card", and he is totally immersed in an economic
model that is based on economic indicators & systems that are largely
anthropomorphic,  that fail to take into account nature's accounting
system, the real one that we humans ignore at our peril and at the
untold suffering of our descendents.

Moreover, I heard he is now, as a minion of Harper, threatening to cut
off tax monies to certain targeted environmental groups.  We need, in
my opinion, some persons of integrity and reputation (cross-over
experts in ecology and economy) to write an open letter to the media,
to test if they publish it, and simultaneously release it to the
internet to go viral the day after.

That's my best take for now. Anybody add to this?  GREN may be too
small for the public task, but maybe we can plant some seeds, no?   dw
