Subject: [Stopthetarsandskw] Aamjiwnaang blockade updates and background
The Aamjiwnaang rail blockade started on the morning of the 21st. (Aamjiwnaang is about 2 hours and 15 minutes of driving away from here.)
Here is the location of the blockade - http://goo.gl/maps/rEt1M
This is the latest media coverage -
from The Canadian Press agency -

Please note: the article doesn't communicate the demands of
the blockaders well.
Those demands are in the previous message I sent, and they are
quoted below.
Here is is set of photos have been posted on Facebook by Lana

The rail line serves petro-chemical companies in the area.
The
blockade at the rail track on Aamjiwnaang is reportedly
costing the companies $5,000,000.00 per day and we are on day
3. They in turn are not paying CN Rail because CN isn't
delivering their toxins to them. All of this is leading to a
meeting this morning between the Citizens of Aamjiwnaang and
the Mayor, The Chief of Police and The MP. They want to make
an offer to have industry, and CN pen a letter advising the Prime Minister to meet with Chief Spence.
