We're looking for activists, workshop facilitators and educators!


Call for action, resources, workshop facilitators and panel discussion
participants/facilitators!

August 23rd and 24th of this year, WPIRG is hosting a two day gathering and
convergence to inspire action and discussions around ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE.
The following are areas of interest and specific topics that we are hoping
to discuss over the two days in various workshops, actions, presentations
and panel discussions. There are 6 areas that we have outlined: Practical
solutions for Support Environmental Justice and Bringing it Home:
Ontario-Specific EJ Issues, as well as the 4 pillars of environmental
justice which are reproductive justice, indigenous solidarity and
decolonization, anti-racism and anti-capitalism. Workshops, actions or
presentations that include a discussion of 1 or more of these core areas
which also teaches something that folks can tangibly leave with (whether
that be comprehensive notes and knowledge about a topic or a t-shirt they
turned into a grocery bag, it matters not) are desired. Please spread this
list widely to your networks. If you would like to facilitate a workshop on
a specific topic, have a topic that we should be discussing but have not
listed, or have a plan for an action around one or more of these topics,
please contact environmental.justice.action at gmail.com for more information
