Hi folks

Canada had a bank bailout after all -- to the tune of $114 billion

Canadian Banks got $3,400 for every man, woman and child in the country. On a per capita basis, that’s more than what U.S. banks needed.

CIBC, BMO, and Scotiabank—were completely under water, with government support exceeding the market value of the company.

Canada's largest banks took $75 billion in short-term collateralized loans from the Bank of Canada & U.S. Federal Reserve.
