[All] Hmm. Kill permit already requested!

Hi everyone

As I suspected, a kill permit has already been requested to destroy Jefferson Salamanders in regards to the subdivision project along Stauffer Drive. You can view that request here:

I've spoken with MNR staff regarding EBR feedback process before. The deadline may have passed but you can technically still write in and give comment to Sue Russell at the MNR and you can also contact Ian Thornton, the district planner at the Guelph MNR with your concerns as well. 

As I stated previously, the permit to kill a process that could take several years. They are open to hearing all public comments on the issue.\

Please note the current request as posted does NOT negate the need to secure further permits regarding the anticipated road proposal. If they intend to encroach upon more, they still must file with the EBR and prove NET BENEFIT to species.
