 Media Release- October 25, 2011

Occupy Waterloo Region will meet at the Uptown Waterloo Square at 1-2 pm for a one hour public demonstration in solidarity with the global Occupy movement on Saturday, October 29 at Waterloo Square. All ages are welcome to attend. Bring signs, bring family and friends.

Afterwards from 2-4 pm, we are holding a free Occupy Everywhere Assembly at the First United Church Waterloo at 16 William Street West, Waterloo. We will seek to connect with one another and continue dialogue about the Occupy movement to better understand the objectives, goals and values of our local Occupy movement. This event is facilitated by Upstart Collaboratory for Designing Collaborative Culture.

Everyone is welcome to attend either one or both of these events.

This is the second public Occupy Waterloo Region General Assembly. For information about our first General Assembly held on October 19th,  please visit the Upstart Collaboratory web site here:  http://www.resilientwaterloo.ca/node/10
